From Crisis to Dignity

From Crisis to Dignity, a short film premiered on World Environment Day, highlights how women and communities are emerging as local climate actors by strengthening water security, sanitation, and environmental resilience across rural Gujarat. It captures how communities of Valiya Block, Bharuch district came together to address chronic gaps in water, sanitation, and hygiene that disproportionately affected women, adolescent girls, persons with disabilities, and marginalised households.

From Crisis to Dignity" is a short film documenting a rural transformation initiative implemented by Utthan (2021–2026) in six villages across Valiya Block, Bharuch, Gujarat, supported by Apcotex Industries Ltd. and EdelGive Foundation.
