The organization has built capacity to work with a wide range of stakeholders at
grassroots, State, national and international level, integrating the lessons
learnt from each other. Utthan's Thrust Areas are intrinsically linked to each
other; which emerged as major issues during our journey for social justice in
Gujarat.
The Utthan Resource Centre is located at our Support office in Ahmedabad, housing a catalog of extensive knowledge resources collected by us since 1981.
What We Offer:
The URC is more than just a library; it is a vibrant space for reading, engaging in conversations, ideation, and much more. Our collection comprises over 1500 resources, including books, manuals, research reports, gazetteers, posters, and films, covering a wide array of subjects such as women and society, water and sanitation, natural resource management, sustainable agriculture, and economics.
Who Can Benefit:
We aim to make these resources freely available to a diverse audience, including high school and college students, development professionals, NGOs, academicians, researchers, and anyone with an interest in the issues that matter. The URC serves as a bridge, connecting individuals with grassroots-level challenges and solutions.
